Ralph Earle’s first collection of poems, The Way the Rain Works, won the 2015 Sable Books Chapbook Competition. Ralph’s poetry weaves together the strands of his personal life with the visions and rhythms of the natural world. He takes his inspiration from rural Chatham County, where he has made his home for 25 years. Ralph’s poetry has appeared in many regional and national journals. He teaches poetry classes at Central Carolina Community College in Pittsboro.
