Water Color Painting Classes Beginning January 2019

Would you like to try painting for the first time or improve on your painting technique?  Watercolor Painting Classes by Beth Bale.  These are all nearly full and have already begun.  So if you want to sign up, get on the list for next sessions.

Beth is a member of Chatham Artists Guild, Sanford Brush and Palette Club and is a signature member of the Watercolor Society of NC.  She has won awards from WSNC, Chatham Artists Guild and Sanford Brush and Palette Club for her watercolor paintings of nature and animals in a colorful and loose style, with focus on light and shadow.  Beth will teach students to paint with freedom and fun, with a no-pressure style that helps students find their own styles and preferences.  See her work at The Joyful Jewel, on her website at www.bethbale.com, on Facebook at Beth Bale Fine Art or on Instagram at Beth Bale Fine Art.  Contact her at bethbale@windstream.net with any questions.

Jumpstart Your Poetic Inspiration, Friday, March 15, 9:30am -12:30pm  with Ashley Memory, $50

You can find inspiration for poetry everywhere—from reading newspapers and periodicals to mining your daily life and memory. We’ll improvise on sample poems written by other poets and participate in fun and collaborative exercises meant to spark your own imagination. Not only will you end up with three new poems of your own, you’ll leave with a never-ending inventory of ideas that can be used for not just poetry but short stories, essays, and more. Bring your favorite writing gear (notebook and pen/pencil or laptop) and get ready for new prompts, new inspiration, and instant feedback.

Write Way, Wednesday, March 27, 6:30 – 8pm, with Dori Dupre, free

Grief is as individual and unique an experience as you are an individual and unique human being. Grieve the Write Way workshops are opportunities to process and work through your grief with the art and experience of narrative, prompt and journal writing.
