Ashley Memory writes fiction, essays, and poetry. She is the author of Naked and Hungry, a darkly humorous suspense novel released in November 2011 by Ingalls Publishing Group. Naked and Hungry was a finalist for the James Jones First Novel Fellowship and was named one of the season’s most promising debut novels byLibrary journal for Fall 2011.
Her work has most recently been published in the 2014Thomas Wolfe Review and INDY Week, which named her poem “How to See a Ghost” as the second place winner in their 2014 Poetry Competition. New work is forthcoming in the 2015 edition of Pinesong andCarolina Woman.
